Best Apple Pie…EVER!

Best Apple Pie

3-4 Fuji Apple
3-4 Granny Smith Apples
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup of butter (1 stick)
Cinnamon (to taste)
Pumpkin pie spice (to taste)
3 tablespoons of flour
1/4 cup water
2 rolled pie crusts

1. Preheat oven 425f
2. Prepare lower crust of pie in a normal pie pan
3. Peel, core, and chop the apples. Arrange in pie crust, layering different apples. Prepare lattice crust over apples
4. Melt butter in a small saucepan
5. Add the flour to make a paste
6. Add the water, sugar, brown sugar, and spices. Allow to boil, then remove from heat.
7. Pour over lattice crust, into the pie pan.
8. Allow to bake at 425f for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350f. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes. If the top crust begins to burn, cover with foil and allow pie to fully cook

  2. It was the best apple pie I have ever eaten. I'm not sure what made a big difference in other apple pies, but seriously, it was SO good. Ha, sorry I keep posting pictures of food 🙂 I bet your baby boy wouldn't mind a nice big slice of apple pie, hehe.And thanks in advance for the recipe!
