Finallllly Home!

We are finally home from our cruise!  We had a fabulous time.  Our trip was extended a little bit because of the crazy snow storm, we were unable to fly into Norfolk, so we were stuck in Miami for 2 extra days.  It all worked out though, because our school was closed anyways due to the weather, PTL!

We had a fabulous time, of course!  It was a much needed break from all the hustle and bustle and we enjoyed every minute of it!  I just love spending all day, every day with Scott.  It is so obvious that God made us for each other, because we fit together so perfectly.  I feel like any part of me that is lacking, Scott fills in for that…so amazing.

We visited Grand Cayman, Cozumel Mexico, Belize and Roatan Honduras.  Our favorite was Roatan, because it is a very lush, green island.  Kind of under-developed and jungle-y, those are our favorite type of islands. The few days at sea were fun too, Carnival keeps the days jam-packed so there is never a dull moment.  Scott and I enjoyed the “deck parties”, karaoke, magic shows and dance lessons.

This is the Lido Deck, this is where all the fun is!

My SIL Claire at sting ray city in Grand Cayman.  Holding a wild sting ray.  So fun!

Dolphinaris in Cozumel, Mexico.  Here we swam with dolphins, hugged them, kissed them etc..We loved this and I thought the location was stunning!

There is “our” dolphin, Marina.

George the monkey, we found him on an island in Roatan.  He really hated being in that cage.

All the girls at our last formal night.  It was Christmas Eve! 🙂

A hermit crab we found on Roatan

Gorgeous 11 acre island in Roatan.

We go to go inside the Leopards cage and feed Junior in Belize

Isn’t he beautiful?

Our last day of excursions, leaving Roatan.  This was our favorite place ever!

I was bored on the plane, this is my new coach bag I got while on the trip! 🙂 🙂

Enjoying karaoke one night

Excited to swim with dolphins!

Scott did this…how sweet!

Scott goofing around on the boat.  We chartered a private boat so they let us do whatever we wanted!

Before we left for the cruise, we had Scott’s family over for Christmas a week early.  I  made truffles, corn-syrup free pecan pie and spinach and artichoke dip.  The girls brought cookies and cupcakes.  We had a great time hanging out and opening gifts.

We came home with sun tans…to THIS!

As you can see, we had a busy past few weeks.  We had so much fun and I feel so blessed to have been able to see the Western part of the Caribbean.
